Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Weddier. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Weddier.

The service

Weddier lets couples build wedding websites with features such as RSVP, gift registry, and multilingual pages. Features may change over time. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract (generally 18+ in Australia) to create an account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others’ rights
• Upload harmful, abusive, or misleading content
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the service beyond what the law allows
• Use Weddier to spam guests or send unsolicited commercial messages without required consent
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your relationship to a wedding

Your content

You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant Weddier a licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the service.

You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload (including photos of people) and that it does not violate anyone else’s rights.

Weddier Plus pricing

Weddier Plus is an optional one-time upgrade per wedding site, priced in Australian dollars (AUD). You may pay in full or choose a monthly payment plan through our billing partner (Airwallex Billing).

Pay in full is a single charge (currently $150 AUD, which is $30 less than the total payment-plan amount). The payment plan is a recurring monthly subscription at $15 AUD per month with a minimum commitment equivalent to twelve months ($180 AUD total). The subscription continues until you cancel in accordance with these terms; cancelling before you have paid the minimum may result in a manual invoice for the remaining balance.

When your payment plan starts, the same Weddier Plus features unlock as pay-in-full, including gift payout tools, from day one. Custom domains on the payment plan stay connected while your Plus subscription is active in our billing system; pay in full includes a custom domain for the wedding without a recurring subscription. If you cancel the payment plan because you are not satisfied with Weddier Plus or the service, we will not charge the remaining minimum balance (subject to verification). Other early cancellations, or failed or missed subscription payments before the minimum is met, may result in a manual invoice for the unpaid portion of the minimum commitment. We may suspend Plus or gift tools if a balance remains unresolved.

A limited-time offer allowed some existing customers to claim Weddier Plus for the life of their wedding site. That campaign ends on 1 November 2026 (Australia). Sites created after that date, or after an individual offer window expires, must purchase Plus to unlock paid features.

Gift registry and payments

Gift registry wish lists are included with your wedding site at no charge. Weddier Plus is an optional one-time upgrade per wedding (pay in full or by agreed payment plan) that unlocks additional features such as multiple events, seating plans, and tools to share payout details and payment links with guests.

• Stripe (recommended): Many couples use Stripe Payment Links. Use a fixed-price link when a gift has one set amount; use a customer-entered or open amount link for honeymoon funds or cash gifts where the guest chooses how much to give. Create and manage links in your Stripe Dashboard. Weddier may pre-fill amount or email on supported Stripe link types when guests use your site — we do not operate Stripe checkout and do not control Stripe fees, approvals, or account status.
• Other providers: You may use other HTTPS payment links or bank details at your own risk, subject to that provider’s terms.
• Email instructions: Weddier may send emails on your behalf containing payment details you configure. Delivery is not guaranteed; guests should verify payee details before sending money.

Weddier is not a bank, payment institution, money transmitter, or escrow service. We do not process, hold, or take a percentage of guest gift money. Guests pay you through third-party services you choose (for example Stripe Payment Links, PayPal, or bank transfer using details you provide).

You are the merchant or recipient for guest gifts. You are solely responsible for your payout information, payment links, pricing shown to guests, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, and compliance with laws that apply to you.

Fees for Weddier Plus and optional AI plans are shown in your admin area and collected through our billing partner when you purchase those products. We do not charge a platform fee or percentage on gifts sent to you through your own links or bank details.

Third-party payments — your risk, not Weddier’s

Your relationship with Stripe, PayPal, banks, or any other payment provider is governed solely by that provider’s terms of service, privacy policy, and rules (including their right to suspend accounts, decline transactions, or change fees). Weddier is not a party to those agreements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies), Weddier is not liable for: unauthorised access to, copying of, or leakage of payout or bank details you publish or send; phishing, fraud, scams, or impersonation targeting you or your guests; guest payment mistakes; disputes between you and guests; losses from wrong amounts, broken links, or outdated instructions; chargebacks; or any act, omission, or outage of a third-party payment provider.

You agree to indemnify and hold Weddier harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your gift payment setup, instructions you give guests, content on your site, or your use of third-party payment services, except where indemnity is not permitted by law.

Refunds and consumer guarantees

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded.

If Weddier fails to meet an ACL guarantee relating to the Weddier service itself, you may be entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy as the ACL requires).

For money guests send you via Stripe, bank transfer, or any other channel you configure, refunds and disputes are between the guest and you (and the payment provider’s rules). Weddier does not control those funds. Guests should contact the couple first. Contact us only for issues with the Weddier platform (not payment disputes between guests and couples).

Weddier intellectual property

Weddier’s software, branding, templates, and design system remain our property. You may not copy, resell, or misuse them except as allowed through the normal use of the product.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we need to for security or operational reasons. You may stop using Weddier and request account closure subject to outstanding obligations.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law (including the ACL), Weddier is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the service.

Without limiting the gift payment disclaimers above, Weddier is not responsible for financial loss connected to guest gifts, third-party payment providers, or payout information you choose to share.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or AUD $100 if you paid no fees), except where the ACL requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts in Australia may hear disputes arising from them, without limiting any non-excludable consumer rights.
